If I only had to cook, serve, and clean up after eight three-course meals, dayenu

If I only had to serve some of these meals at midnight, dayenu

If I only had to listen to five renditions of the mah nishtana, 37 divrei Torah, and seven gematrias, dayenu

If I only had to listen to the above while worrying about how the meal will work out, dayenu

If I only had to plan four day-trips, dayenu

If I only had to find places (and clean linens) for all my guests to sleep, dayenu

If I only had to shop and pay for food and some new dishes, dayenu

If I only had to tovel the new dishes, dayenu

If I only had to cover my kitchen in foil, dayenu

If I only had to make some charitable donations, dayenu

If I only had to get my kids to clean their rooms and schoolbags, dayenu

If I only had to get the baby to not eat Cheerios for a week, dayenu

If I only had to have three different types of matzot to suit the tastes and strictures of my family and guests, dayenu

If I only had to figure out 20 tempting ways to serve potatoes, dayenu

If I only had to make sure everyone gets a haircut, dayenu

If I only had to read this year’s copy of Rabbi Blumenkrantz, the OU, chaf K, and Star K guides, dayenu

If I only had to prepare myself and my family spiritually, dayenu
