Question: I will be giving birth in two months and a friend suggested that I check out some local pediatric offices so that I can make an informed decision about who to choose for my baby. What are some questions that I should be asking at that visit and what should I be looking for?

The most important choice when searching for any new doctor is recommendations, recommendations, recommendations. THE GYM Fundraiser Helps Disabled Veterans

THE GYM recently hosted a successful fundraising drive to help raise money for disabled veterans through Homes For Veterans, a local charity based in Harrington Park, NJ.

The fundraising events included a push-up contest, with trainers and members participating in a friendly competition where funds were raised with every push-up. The fitness events and sales of “Support Our Troops” t-shirts raised over $3,400 for Homes For Veterans.

Researchers: Fertility Treatments Do Not Increase Cardiovascular Deaths in Women

Beer Sheva—Women undergoing fertility treatment are not at greater risk for future cardiovascular complications or death, according to a new study by Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) and Soroka University Medical Center.

The study was recently presented at the 36th Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) in Atlanta, Georgia and has just been accepted for publication in the American Journal of Perinatology.
