On July 4, 350 staff members and 650 campers from across the globe, including Teaneck, Woodmere, Florida, California, Israel, the UK and Canada, officially made Camp Mesorah their home for the summer.

After five fantastic days of staff orientation with team building exercises, round robin discussions, group sessions, trips and activities, Camp Mesorah counselors, specialty staff, and administration are ready to give Mesorah campers the best summer of their lives.

The Leah Sokoloff Nursery School Summer Program is in full swing. The campers had a great time celebrating the 4th of July, learning brachot and doing lots of fun activities. They are also learning Hebrew through a special “Chalav U DVASH “ experience where they have daily games and fun entirely in Hebrew.

Yeshivat Noam’s Better Together™ Grant and Contest Winner Maya Krause

For the past two years, Yeshivat Noam sixth graders visited seniors every month at Daughters of Miriam, a nursing home in Clifton. This special and memorable opportunity was made possible by the Better Together™ program, which is generously supported through a Better Together™ Grant from a nationally recognized and respected foundation. On every visit, the students and residents participate in a joint art project related to the upcoming Jewish holidays, they talk about traditions and about school and life, and then they sing, accompanied by Rabbi Dr. Alex Mondrow, Yeshivat Noam Middle School psychologist, on the guitar.
