He’Atid FunRun Raises Over $50,000 in Scholarship Funds

This past Sunday, Yeshivat He’Atid hosted its third annual Scholarship FunRun event. The proceeds of the FunRun benefit the school’s scholarship fund. This year the school raised over $50,000.

Overflow Crowd Turns Out for TABC’s Tikkun Leil Shavuot

TABC’s Beit Midrash was filled to capacity on Shavuot night, with overflow into other rooms to accommodate the crowd. TABC rebbeim were on hand to give shiurim and to learn with their students in the Beit Midrash. Many of the boys who do not live in the Teaneck/Bergenfield area stayed with friends for the chag so that they could participate in the Tikkun Leil Shavuot in their yeshiva. TABC is proud that its talmidim celebrate z’man matan Torateinu in the same Beit Midrash that they experience a microcosm of matan Torah every day.

In honor of Flag Day, June 14, the K-Gold children at Moriah designed and created their own flags. The children depicted what was most relevant and significant to them.

Ma’ayanot Students Excel in Prestigious YU Bekiut Competition

Numerous Ma’ayanot students—including students in Rabbi Zev Prince’s Bekiut elective and in Mrs. Dena Block’s senior Gemara Seminar class—learned the entire Masechet Makkot with Rashi and select Tosfot this year; in addition, junior Batsheva Leah Weinstein learned the entire Masechet with her father over the course of the school year.

That alone is an amazing accomplishment. Equally impressive is how well these students performed in the Yeshiva University Bronka Weintraub Bekiut Program: three of the top four winners in this competition were Ma’ayanot students.
